Regional Manager GB

(Based - Glasgow)

Salary: £45k + 10% bonus based on KPIs, benefits of a company car, pension, private medical and life insurance.                           

 
The B9 Energy group of Companies develops and operates renewable energy projects and B9 Energy O&M Ltd is the UK and Ireland’s largest independent wind farm Operation and Maintenance Company. We currently wish to appoint a Regional Manager to work in our O&M division. The role will be based at our office in Glasgow, Scotland. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and delivery of our operation and maintenance contracts with major utility and OEM companies within GB. The role will require regular travel to various wind farm sites and client reviews. The Regional Manager is responsible for the management of our service provision contracts, and will be responsible for all aspects of service delivery for related contract performance, including service excellence, customer experience and maximising contribution. You will play a key part in the maintenance and growth of B9’s existing strategic relationship with this client.
 
The successful candidate will have proven experience as an Account Manager, responsible for high value contracts (typically >£500k pa), and with large customers, typically utilities in a contracting environment, and will possess:
 
·         A high level of academic achievement – a minimum of degree level or equivalent
·         Strong commercial acumen and problem solving abilities
·         Experience in managing large corporate accounts in the energy sector
·         Strong management, organisational and time management skills
·         Exemplary communication skill at all levels of business – verbal and written, both internally and externally
·         The ability to influence at a variety of levels
·         Experience in remote management of operational teams
·         Experience of team environment, where inputs are required from many different sources
·         Previous client facing programme/project management experience
·         Effective negotiating experience
·         The ability to lead projects or manage smaller work streams would be an advantage.
·         Effective team player with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and business partners
·         Ability to multi-task and manage ever changing and often conflicting priorities
 
For this position a full driving licence is essential, as is the ability to travel in the UK for periods during the week.

Holiday Support Technician - Scotland

Salary: £22k - £24k depending on experience, benefits of pension scheme, medical and life insurance                              

The B9 Energy group of Companies develops and operates renewable energy projects. B9 Energy O&M Ltd is the UK and Ireland’s largest independent wind farm Operation and Maintenance Company. We currently wish to appoint additional Holiday Support Technician.
 
The successful applicant will be providing holiday cover for wind farms throughout the UK and Ireland.
 
The principal duties of a Technician are to: carry out site operational and maintenance duties including both scheduled and unscheduled turbine maintenance; respond to breakdown calls; site safety and environmental management. 
 
Candidates must have a minimum of an NVQ level 3 in an electrical and/or mechanical engineering discipline and experience in an electro/mechanical engineering environment or equivalent.
 
Previous experience in this work is preferable but not essential. Training will be provided as and when necessary. For this position a full driving licence is essential as is a good degree of physical fitness because the wind farms are in relatively remote locations and the candidate must be confident to work periodically at height and occasionally in adverse weather conditions. Flexibility and a willingness to adapt are fundamental to this role. The candidates must also be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft office and word.
