Maritime Power-to-X Project

Great to see B9 Energy continuing to spread the Maritime Power-to-X message at events. Hollie Neill gave a presentation at QUB Chemistry and Chemical Engineering day showcasing our project's hard work. The Maritime Power-to-X project, also known as the NI/GB Green Shipping Corridor, is a CMDC4 funded initiative that aims to establish a true-zero emissions shipping route between Northern Ireland and Great Britain using green methanol produced through Power-to-X technology. The project demonstrates how chemical engineering principles are applied in developing sustainable maritime fuel solutions, including green hydrogen production, green methanol synthesis, and circular CO₂ economy systems.
